A diagnostic is a person who demands logical and sound reasoning. They understand in the value that unconventional ideas can lead to innovative brilliance, but have little patience if data behind the proposal is lacking. They are good in in understanding the root causes and usually have a rigorous and systematic approach in doing so.  Effectively, structures, formats, and patterns excite diagnostics.

Diagnostics are very analytical and with this, have continuous working minds. They produce insightful analysis and can help organize large quantities of data. They are known as subject matter experts, because they put extreme focus in their tasks.

But they are very skeptical until they got the right back-up. Their skepticism ensures validity, but sometimes sacrifices productivity. They often are victims to analysis paralysis, and would more often than not, argue that the best solution is the absolute truth. The best leaders in the world, in one point or another, had large influences of diagnostic behaviors. The best leaders usually put a significant amount of engaged time to their craft.

But to truly ascend and be able to fulfill your goals, it is sometimes important to go with your gut, even if the data is not all there. The best leaders will responsibly diagnose situations 99% of the time, but for the challenging 1% of obstacles life may throw at us, they have the ability to go with their gut, even if data is limited.
