journey & experiences that made Me A leader?

My path was not a straight line. Most of my learnings came from trying to combat big challenges. I say that helped shape my empathy and understanding to forge strong connections. Funny enough, I once wanted to be a professional basketball player or actor, but those ambitions ended early. What I did know is that I trusted my values and principles. I always had a good foundation with my family. To this date, my family is my ultimate North Star. Regardless of where I was/am in an organization, my journey shaped me to adopt a “no job too big or too small” mentality. That could mean one day I can do GTM, the other day I am doing Compliance or Finance, and then another day I am working on Product. Or I’m working on all three in one morning. Integrity became my compass, authenticity my voice. And my journey is about building bridges, not walls.

effective methods For Clients, to make imparting knowledge impactful and effective?

My advisory sessions are about igniting curiosity and effecting proper execution. Tactically, I employ personalized roadmaps, breaking down complex concepts into actionable milestones, ensuring tangible progress, and reminding folks of the basics (i.e. Distribution, GTM, Product, Integration, Funding, Compliance, Unit Economics). Inspirationally, I weave storytelling, connecting theory to real-world impact, and trying to spark 'aha' moments. We use visual frameworks and interactive exercises to activate learning, encouraging deep reflection and self-discovery. I prioritize active listening, creating a safe space for vulnerability, where true growth happens. My goal is to empower clients with the tools and confidence to not just understand, but to innovate, lead, and build their own unique legacy, one strategic step and inspired insight at a time. And if we can, change and make the world a much better place for our children.

Honestly, I hope clients leave with a clearer understanding of their path. I aim to provide practical tools and strategies they can use immediately, and perhaps a bit more confidence in their own abilities. If I can help them navigate a challenge or see a new perspective, that is well time spent. I try to listen more than I talk, and hopefully, build a collaborative space where all parties feel heard and understood. Ultimately, I hope folks leave feeling a little more empowered to make their own informed decisions, knowing they have the resources to move forward. I always remind myself; success is not final; failure is not fatal. Courage of your convictions is what counts. If a client can derive that the time spent was both wholesome and well worth it, then that’s all I could aim for.

How I feel my expertise can Influence a Client

I hope my expertise isn't just about skills, but about igniting potential. As the adage says, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Personally, I can provide tools to navigate challenges, implement strategies to seize opportunities, and reassure folks with confidence, that they can redefine their limits. My goal is empowering clients to not just climb a proverbial ladder, but to think about the common challenge we all face, and how to do we tackle it together. I use personally use a handful of mantras, and one of them is, aligned/mutual interest is more powerful than compound interest. And if we use our problem solving and execution skills to one unified mission, I see a client's career graph as linear, but a canvas of possibilities.

me as a person and communication style

I am a simple man (just call me Goyo), meaning I ground myself towards the gratitude of the (1) clarity of my purpose, (2) grind for personal growth (even when not linear), (3) courage of my convictions, and (4) most importantly, joy of and for my family. Growing up Madrid’s Mountain region, surrounded by farms, I always did find comfort in the simpler things. Communication wise, I believe in the power of honest conversations and the strength found in genuine connection. I believe in treating everyone with respect and kindness. I hope to create a space where people feel comfortable sharing, and where we can work together, learn from each other, and build something meaningful, step by step and brick by brick.

biggest inspiration and impact on my career

Foundationally, I’m blessed with parents who unconditionally love me. My mom was my rock and anchor growing up (folks say I grew up as a mama’s boy) and my father is my cheerleader and gave me my business sense. But my biggest role model, and my hero is my wife. Her strength, empathy, and unwavering belief in me makes me feel I can tackle anything. She reinforces in me the power of genuine connection, importance of resilience in the face of setbacks, and courage to pursue passion over security. She's my best friend and a mirror reflecting my best self, reminding me that true success is measured by impact and integrity, not just achievement. Because of her, I strive to lead with heart and purpose. And naturally, my three beautiful daughters are my guiding lights and inspiration. With my family I am always reminded, it’s never about you or me, but always us.
