Power – The speed in which work is performed, with a larger focus on acceleration.

​To better increase power, it requires the recruitment pattern of the muscle fibers to develop force. Training examples to optimize power are Plyometrics (explosive movements that uses stretch-shortening cycle to develop power) and Olympic Lifts (Concentric acceleration workouts which recruits a full body motion, such as cleans or jerks).
