Before we continue discussing the subject, do not let the 22-letter term Dehydroepiandrosterone stop you from reading this quick health tip. For convenience, we will call it DHEA. DHEA is a hormone found in our bodies, and help shape the building blocks of either testosterone or estrogen. It is a precursor hormone, meaning a once inactive hormone becoming active.  Therefore, maintaining elevated levels of DHEA will help promote the right testosterone and estrogen levels. Know that with age, there is a natural decline in DHEA, but physical activity and a right diet can help maintain higher levels.
