Quick Health Tip – A Botanical List For That Cold, Cough, or Flu

It is inevitable that someone’s immune system will be weaker at some points vs others in a lifetime. That increases the susceptibility in getting sick. Sometimes, prevention or initial treatment can come in a form of a plant. The following is a quick “back of the napkin” list (in alphabetical order) to keep in mind:
  • Echinacea – has been said to be very effective during the initial stages of a cold or flu
  • Elderberry – Black (with purple hint) berry has been a popular remedy to help restore the body from a cold or flu
  • Pelargonium – This has been referred to as “the cure of the heavy cough”
  • Propolis – This has been referred to as “nature’s antibiotic”
