Welcome to My Fatherhood Journey: Building Generational Homes, One Day at a Time
Hey there, dads, soon-to-be dads, and anyone who believes in the power of family—welcome to my corner of the family and fatherhood! I’m a proud father of three beautiful daughters and the lucky "chico" who married his high school sweetheart.

Why Fatherhood? Why Now?
Let me start with a truth that hits me every single day: being a dad is the toughest job I’ve ever had, but it’s also the greatest honor of my life. From the moment my first daughter looked up at me with those big, curious eyes, I knew I was in for something bigger than myself. Fatherhood isn’t just about providing or protecting—it’s about being present, thoughtful, and intentional in every moment. It’s about building a generational home—a legacy of love, values, and memories that my daughters will carry forward and pass down to their own families someday.

I started this blog because I just need the outlet to write out "all of this". Whether you’re navigating midnight diaper changes, helping with homework, or trying to figure out how to braid hair (trust me, I’ve been there), you’re not alone.

As parents, my wife and I are on a mission to raise our three daughters with hearts full of pride for their Spain and Peru roots. Our home is a vibrant tapestry of flamenco rhythms, Andean melodies, and the sizzle of chorizo and ceviche on the stove. We’re intentional about weaving these cultural threads into our family’s traditions, not just to preserve heritage but to give our girls a sense of who they are and where they come from. Here’s how we’re passing down the magic of Spain and Peru with love, laughter, and a few dance moves

Super Dad or Zombie Dad? Starting to feel less like a zombie!

Picture this: I’m striding through the house in a metaphorical cape, the epitome of “Super Dad.”

Dinner’s on the table, my three daughters are giggling, and my wife flashes me a smile that says, “You’ve got this.” The world sees a man who’s got fatherhood on lock—calm, confident, untouchable. But peel back the curtain, and you’ll find the truth: I’m not Super Dad. I’m Zombie Dad, shuffling through the chaos, fueled by cold coffee and sheer willpower, just trying to survive the bedtime apocalypse.

Let’s talk about the Super Dad facade and the Zombie Dad reality, complete with bedtime sagas, endless bed escapes, diaper marathons, and the routine pulse check to confirm I’m still kicking.
