Audit Independence Part IV

Another important concept to understand, in relation to audit independence, is the difference between " independence of mind " and " independence in appearance ". 

1. Independence of mind exists when the auditor can maintain an unbiased attitude throughout the​ audit.
2. ​Independence in appearance is dependent on​ others' interpretation and then faith is put on the auditor.
